Unhome

 I left home seeking home!

That was what I thought when I left my first home in my hometown

I came to Naarm for life, curious & thirsty for life

I came with emptiness and was waiting to be filled in

I came with no expectations, and life surprises me the way it always does

This journey taught me a lot, and again, what does a home look like or feel like?

Friends are home

Having quality time with yourself is home

Connecting with yourself in the morning is home

Being alone is home

Being with people is home

Nature is home

Animals are home

The universe is home

Home can be in everything and everyone as long as you feel comfortable and open to it.

I felt at home many times

Other times, I felt so “Unhome.”

And it took me a while to understand the “Unhome.”

And with the years passing by,

I got tired,

I’m tired of missing!

Missing home

Seeking one

Missing my family

Missing myself with people

Losing myself

I'm with all of that mess

Is collected apart

Trying to get its part day by day

To all the versions I once was;

I HAVE NO ENERGY LEFT

Take wisdom from the mouths of crazy people

To all the versions I once were;
